四朵洋村位于205国道大横段沿线，是大横镇下辖的行政村。村名据《1993年南平市志•地名志》，因山形地貌取名。[1][2]

村子所在地原是茶树良种示范场，2000年8月并入大横现代农业科技园区；2005年园区改制后，村委会正式设立。博雅地名网记为2005年6月6日设为行政村。[1][2]

2023年，本村入选延平区乡村「五个美丽」建设典型名单。[2]
