博爱村位于205国道边的建溪河畔，北与建瓯市南雅镇交界，是延平区的北大门。[1][2]
村子原名小仁洲村。百度百科称该村在1998年洪灾后重建时改名为博爱村，以纪念香港同胞的博爱之举；博雅地名网的村级条目则记为2005年改名，镇级沿革记为1999年。[3][1][6]
全国村级红十字会[edit]
博雅地名网称，本村是全国村级红十字会中第一个博爱村。2006年8月，村里设立了红十字会组织，会员二百余人。[2][4]
人口与产业[edit]
2018年，全村人口1858人。村民以种养为生，种植茉莉花、瓜果和蔬菜，也养鱼、养鸭。[4]
2019年12月，本村被评为省级「一村一品」示范村（特色果蔬）。[4]
