大横镇位于福建省南平市延平区北部近郊，镇政府驻大横村。镇域东北与建瓯市南雅镇相接，东南与南山镇相邻，西侧紧挨茫荡镇，西南方向与延平城区接壤。[1][2][5]

镇名取自建溪横贯全镇的地势。205国道穿过镇域，浦南高速在镇内有南平北与大横两处出入口，建溪两岸则靠埂埕大桥等桥梁连通。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

全镇总面积189.73平方千米，其中耕地约1.62万亩，林地约22.9万亩，森林覆盖率为75.5%。[1]

气候属亚热带季风类型。建溪流经镇境，境内建有大横头、禹溪两座水库。[5][6]

矿产以南平黑石、石灰石、花岗岩和大理石为主，多分布在更古、溪洋、常坑等村。[6]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地属富沙乡；明代划归汾常、仁洲、演仙上、演仙下四里，清代沿用明朝制度。[4]

1946年，埂埕乡改称仁埂乡。1950年10月，另设大横乡。1961年9月，大横公社自东坑公社析出。[4]

1984年9月，大横乡重新设立，乡政府驻于大横村；1992年1月，升格为镇。1995年1月撤市设区，大横镇归南平市延平区管辖。[4][5]

2015年，新设大横社区居民委员会。[4]

人口民族[edit]

2020年11月1日零时的常住人口经第七次人口普查统计为9733人。[5]

镇内通行建瓯方言。[6]

经济[edit]

大横绿色产业园区始建于2006年，园区由南平市区与延平区两级出资兴建。2021年改由延平区自行开发建设和经营管理，镇政府承担属地责任，负责园区的日常运营。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

埂埕革命烈士纪念碑与湖尾彭德怀纪念公园，是镇里的两处红色纪念地。[1]

葫芦坵邮差古道是闽赣古道网的重要组成部分，留有革命时期的交通印记。[1]

群仙村有一座孔庙，延安村保存着八幢上世纪七十年代的知青房，其青砖墙体由村民在知青指导下烧制而成。延安知青房于2020年5月进入延平区第二批历史建筑的名单。[1]

博爱村保存有清代古民居。[1]

所获荣誉[edit]

大横镇两次获得省级文明村镇荣誉，分别在第九届与第十届评选中入选，时间为2006年与2009年。[3]

2018年6月，大横镇获评「福建省2015-2017年度省级文明村镇」；2021年，又获评「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇」。[5]

2022年10月，大横镇列入淘宝镇名单。[2]
