江布村位于南山镇北部，面积为1.2663万亩，共219户、904人，下辖2个自然村。村名沿用1941年由原名甘埔改来的今名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据《南平市志·地名志》（1993年），村委会驻江布，此处地处近水的陆地，原名「甘埔」，1941年因方言读音相近改为今名。明洪武元年（1368年）属普安里，清代沿袭。民国时期先称江布保，隶属大凤镇；1946年改属凤山镇龙湾保；1949年改称江东保。1956年属大凤区，1958年称江布大队，1984年改为江布村村民委员会，1992年归南山镇。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

1948年，中共闽浙赣省委机关曾在江布村下楼洞驻扎一个多月。该处下楼洞旧址列入2012年名录。[2][3]

文化[edit]

2020年11月，江布村上榜2020年度南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄名单。1987年，江布村被福建省评定为老区村。[1][2]
