历史沿革[edit]
据《南平市志·地名志》（1993年）所载，村委会驻芹山，村旁过去芹菜丛生，村因此得名。明洪武元年（1368年）属普安里，清代沿袭。民国时期此地称折竹保，隶属大凤镇，之后改隶凤山镇。1949年归第二区管辖，1958年称芹山大队，此后曾归江边公社，1984年改属大凤乡，1991年划归南山镇。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
芹山岩海拔1112.3米，为南山境内最高峰。[2]
