坑桥村位于南山镇西部，面积为0.556万亩，共139户、543人，下辖1个自然村。村名取自坑头与桥门两个自然村各一字。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据《南平市志·地名志》（1993年），村名取坑头、桥门两个自然村的首字组成。明洪武元年（1368年）属普安里，1941年属第一区南山乡后溪保，1954年属第二区后溪乡，1958年称坑桥大队，1984年改为坑桥村村民委员会，1992年改属南山镇。[1][2]

文化[edit]

1987年，坑桥村被福建省认定为老区村。[2]
