凤池村位于南山镇西部，面积为1.3463万亩，共536户、2206人。村内有游定夫祠与游定夫书院，村庄被列为省级历史文化名村。[1][2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网引述，村名取意于附近的凤山与凤凰沐浴之池。明洪武元年（1368年）起此地属普安里，清代沿袭。1958年称凤池大队，1984年改为凤池村村民委员会，1992年改属南山镇。[1][2]

2003年1月，省政府把凤池村认定为第二批历史文化名镇名村；2015年10月，凤池村又进入第一批省级传统村落名单。[1][4]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的游定夫祠由游酢九世孙游以仁于元延祐三年（1316年）建成，1996年列为福建省第四批省级文物保护单位。[3][5][6]

游定夫书院为清代建筑，列为区级文物保护单位；村中还有清代的凤池大场石拱桥、州佐花园民居与将军楼民居。[3]
