坑仔源村位于南山镇西南部，面积为0.1309万亩，共94户、400人。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名沿用旧时的自然村名「坑仔源」，依据《南平市志·地名志》（1993年）。1991年，此地还是大凤乡南山村下的坑仔源自然村；次年大凤乡撤并，改设南山镇，坑仔源随之归入。[1][2]

1997年，经民政部门批准，坑仔源由南山村中划出，单独设立为行政村。1987年，坑子源村被福建省评定为老区村。[1][2]
