翁坑村是延平区峡阳镇辖的行政村，辖大翁坑、小翁坑、严垱3个自然村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
博雅地名网称，村驻地位于山坑之中，故以此命名。[1]
人口[edit]
2011年，辖区常住总人口596人、139户，全部为汉族；据博雅地名网，姓张者约占全村人口的七成。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1941年设大翁坑保；1949年为南平县第七区所辖；1958年纳入红专人民公社（峡阳）；1959年改隶峡阳公社；1961年设大翁坑生产大队；1963年复归峡阳公社；1984年改设大翁坑村委会，属峡阳镇。[1]
