中心街村是延平区峡阳镇辖的行政村，位于集镇中心地段，城乡分类属镇中心区。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据《南平市志·地名志》（1993年），因地处镇街区中心而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1941年称中心保，1949年称中心街；1958年纳入红专人民公社（峡阳），1984年改属峡阳镇。[1]

人口与设施[edit]

2011年底，本街有195户，常住人口701人。本街历来设有供销社、粮站、工商所等机构，博雅地名网所载该街还有农商银行、邮电局、农贸市场和卫生院。[1]
