峡阳镇位于延平区西北部，东邻茫荡镇，南连王台镇，西与顺昌县交界，北接建瓯。镇域面积176.38平方千米，镇政府驻前进街。镇名取自「两山一水谓之峡，山南水北谓之阳」之意，玉屏山与招科山环抱集镇，富屯溪贯穿全境。[1][3]

延平区政府网站称峡阳镇为福建省历史文化名镇，并称其为「中国文化艺术之乡」。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地属芹哨乡。明代分属九个里，清乾隆十三年（1748年）在玉屏山前设分县衙署，移县丞驻峡阳，管辖七里十五图。直到1919年，衙署才改称县佐署，县丞也改为县佐。[5]

1934年改称峡阳镇，1941年设峡阳区署，1943年撤区，仍称峡阳镇。1958年11月组建峡阳红专人民公社，次年改为峡阳公社；1961年分设峡阳、江汜、杜溪三个公社，1963年6月江汜、杜溪并回峡阳公社。1984年9月起称峡阳镇。1995年1月南平撤市设区，峡阳遂归延平区。[5]

延平区政府网站另将峡阳列为红色苏区。[3]

地理环境[edit]

镇域属中亚热带季风气候，年平均温度19.3℃，降水每年约1600毫米，无霜期超过280天。[4]

人口民族[edit]

第七次全国人口普查登记的常住人口为11712人，时点为2020年11月1日零时。[1]

延平区政府网站称全镇人口2.3万，博雅地名网则写作「全镇总人口25000多人」，两处均未注明统计时点。[3][4]

名胜古迹[edit]

张氏百忍堂即峡阳张氏宗祠，位于将军街，始建于明末清初，清乾隆年间重建。门楼为四柱三间的牌坊式，砖雕精美，门内额与门后的清代壁画保存较好。2018年，百忍堂被福建省人民政府列为第九批省级文物保护单位。[6][3]

应氏状元祠位于前进街，为清代建筑，列为县级文物保护单位。[7]

屏山书院位于新兴街，建于清代，同为县级文物保护单位。[8]

政府网站称，大衙、石板坪、下马坪三座古民居与张氏百忍堂先后列入福建省文物保护单位，时间为2005年和2018年。[3]

峡阳民居时代为明至清，博雅地名网称其为福建省文物保护单位。[10]

庄武王庙位于溪中公园内，时代为民国，为县级文物保护单位。[9] 2022年，溪中公园及庄武王庙（关岳庙）列入福建省河湖文化遗产名录。[3]

政府网站还列有招科塔、报国寺、寿孝牌坊和千年古樟等名胜古迹。[3]

文化[edit]

延平战胜鼓据载始于明末清初，每年正月十五至二十五日击鼓迎春，鼓点与人钹相和，列队行进时边走边击。2005年经福建省政府核定，它进入首批省级非遗之列。[11]

政府网站称，「战胜鼓」为省级非物质文化遗产，「南剑戏」「百忍堂传说」「庄武王庙摆大碗」「峡阳福宴」为市级非物质文化遗产。[3]

峡阳村于2013年8月入选第二批中国传统村落，江汜村在2016年12月进入第四批中国传统村落的行列。[2][12][13]
