珠地村位于西芹镇驻地西南部约13.8千米，地势四周高、中间低，呈盆地状，村内有5个自然村：珠地、马甲、坂山、留地、广泉坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明洪武元年（1368年）属大外里，清代仍之。民国时期归第一区南洲乡，称珠地保，其后并入洋洲乡。1949年改称珠地乡，1958年归火车头（西芹）人民公社，1961年改属峰坪公社，1963年归西芹公社，1984年才定为今名。[2][1]

地名由来[edit]

据《1993年南平市志·地名志》，村名原作朱地，先由朱姓开基，后任姓与陈姓相继迁入；民国时期改“朱”为“珠”。[3]

文化[edit]

“大腔戏坐唱”是村内的地方民间艺术，已列入延平区非物质文化遗产。[1]
