坑布村位于西芹镇驻地南偏东约6千米，依米山山麓而建，福银高速公路跃村口互通从境内穿过。村内辖坑布、大柳源、坑甲、湖头、无仕共5个自然村，1984年定为今名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明洪武元年（1368年）村址属开平里，初名康布，清代沿袭明制。民国30年（1941年）划入南洲乡，后改称坑布。1949年归第五区，1958年并入火车头（西芹）人民公社，1963年归西芹公社。[5][3]

地名由来[edit]

村委会驻地原名康布，以康姓命名，民国30年改称坑布。[3]

地理环境[edit]

大柳源峡谷位于米山脚下，峡谷中四季有水，瀑布大小共36处。[4]

人口民族[edit]

村内以汉族为主，康、郑、王、杨为主要姓氏。[1]

文化[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月将坑布村列为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[2]
