洪溪村的村委会驻洪溪，位于西芹镇驻地南偏东约5千米。村名取自地形：溪水涨发时常封住村口。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

明洪武元年（1368年）即已属开平里，清代仍之。1941年，这里设洪溪保，归西芹镇；1952年划入长建乡；1984年才改用今名，同年归西芹镇。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村辖上洪溪、下洪溪、上马石3个自然村，丘陵林地居多，最高山峰海拔300余米，主要林木有松、杉与毛竹。[1]

经济[edit]

2011年，全村人均收入8422元。村民的经济以蔬菜种植为主，林业居次。[1]
