该村是革命老区的基点村，1948年5月，省委机关曾临时设在村中。[1]

2020年11月，村庄上榜「2020年度南平市绿盈乡村中级版村庄」名单；2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2023年12月，被命名为「2023年度福建省森林村庄」。[1]
