田地村位于夏道镇的山区，距南平市区约25公里，距集镇约15公里，为该镇的高山村之一。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村辖一个主村与两个小型自然村，与文田、鸠上、小坪、溪头等村相邻。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来：村前有一片开阔的田地。[2]

明清属云盖里；1934年归第六区，1941年为第一区鸠洋乡下的田地保。1949年划入第四区鸠洋乡，1950年至1957年归鸠上乡。1958年在东方红（夏道）公社下设大队；1961年改归鸠上公社，两年后又并入夏道公社，直到1984年才改属夏道镇。[3]

2021年11月，村庄被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
