文田村位于夏道镇的江南新区与江南工业园区范围之内，316国道穿村而过，距南平市区约11公里。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村辖一个主村和四个自然村，村庄依山傍水，四周山林连绵。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：村庄依山傍水，轮廓形似「文」字，故名文田。[2]

此地在明清时是罗源里的一部分。1934年至1936年间先后划归第六区与第一区；1941年称下道镇文田保。解放后，1949年归第四区，次年设为文田乡。1958年并入东方红（夏道）公社并设文田大队，1984年改设村委会，属夏道镇。[3]

2021年12月，村庄被认定为「2021年度南平市绿盈乡村中级版村庄」。[1]
