夏道镇位于福建省南平市延平区东南部，在闽江上游，离延平城区约12.8公里。[1][2]
镇境内有316国道经过，南古公路与外福铁路也由此通行，高铁延平站设在镇内。[1]
镇内工业以保温安装业为龙头，农业以果树和毛竹为主要林果资源。[1][3]
镇名原为下道，1943年改称夏道。[5]
历史沿革[edit]
宋代这一带属归善乡；明代分属东架寿山里、云盖里、崇福里和罗源里；清代沿用明代的里制。[4]
民国初年，这里先后隶属第十区、第四区和第六区，1939年分设下道镇与鸠洋乡，仍归第一区管辖。1943年下道改称夏道。[4][5]
1946年归南平县管辖，1949年设第四区，1956年成立夏道区。1958年建夏道东方红人民公社，同年11月县市合并，改属南平市。1961年分出夏道与鸠上两个公社，到1963年鸠上一并回到夏道的管辖之下。[4]
1984年9月改设夏道镇；1995年南平地区撤销，南平市改设为区，夏道镇划归延平区。[4]
近年的荣誉有：2020年12月被福建省爱卫办命名为「福建省卫生乡镇」；2021年2月入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；2021年10月和2022年10月，分别列入「2021年淘宝镇」与「2022年淘宝镇」名单；2022年10月被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[7]
地理环境[edit]
闽江主航道贯穿全镇，水口库区的库湾也伸入镇内，形成多处浅水库湾。[3][7]
镇内的米山辟为自然风景区，山林面积较大，以毛竹林与柑桔、枇杷等果树为主。[3]
人口民族[edit]
2020年第七次全国人口普查登记的常住人口为27692人，统计截至当年11月初。[2]
延平区人民政府网2025年12月发布的乡镇概况称，镇常住人口约5.59万人，页面未注明统计时点，与上述普查数字口径不同。[1]
经济[edit]
工业中以保温安装为首，制茶、纺织、化工与建材也占一定位置，此外有塑胶、食品加工与饲料生产。[3]
延平区人民政府网称夏道镇为「保温之都」。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
2012年公布的《延平区第三次全国文物普查不可移动文物名录》收入本镇的文物有：青铜时代的鸠上后街墩遗址、洋头遗址、安济夹子山遗址和桥头土目洲遗址；明代的安济瓷窑址与澄源瓷窑址；清代的安济江家厝、篁路罗兴瑞宅第和篁路水尾桥；徐洋村的徐洋村李延平祠，列为「区级文物保护单位」。[6]
此外有1949年的「上溪闽浙赣人民游击纵队成立旧址」，同样列于上述名录。[6]
