高洲村位于樟湖镇，地处闽北最南端、闽江中游。博雅地名网称其为福州进入闽北的第一村，村子也是水口水电站库区的移民搬迁村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名因地势较高、位于溪边沙洲之上而得。[1]

明初（1368年）此地属南平县垂裕乡长安里。1934年为新溪乡下的高洲保；1946年并入樟湖镇，1950年设高洲乡。之后经樟湖区、红旗公社等调整，1961年成立高洲公社，1963年改称高洲大队，1984年改设村委会。[1]

2021年11月，高洲村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
