剧头村位于樟湖镇东南约2公里处，由后洋山、罗元、剧头三个自然村组成，是中国传统村落。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村庄位于山峰的尽头，故取名剧头。[1]

明初（1368年）此地属南平县垂裕乡长安南里。1934年起为新溪乡下的峰洋保，1946年并入樟湖镇；此后先后隶属高洲乡、剧头乡与樟湖区。1961年曾称后洋山大队、归溪口公社，1963年改称剧头大队，1984年改设村委会。[1]

2021年11月，剧头村获福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

剧头村在2016年5月经省政府认定，列为「第五批福建省历史文化名镇名村」；2017年8月入选第二批省级传统村落名录，2019年6月列入第五批中国传统村落名录。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

剧头延陵堂为清代建筑，列入2012年的延平区文物普查不可移动文物名录。[2]

村中还现存唐桥、宋陈桥、元祖厝和明代吴氏宗祠等历史遗存。[3]
