下坂街村位于樟湖集镇南端，是水口电站库区一期搬迁村，1990年3月迁至新址。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

全村于1990年3月搬迁完毕，新址在原集镇约2000米处的大皇埔。[1]

2021年11月，村庄被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；下坂村于2022年10月被省里列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

下坂街的顺天圣母庙为明代建筑，列为区级文物保护单位。[2]
