游地村位于来舟镇，旧村原在高山之上，距集镇约12千米。2001年前后，村里整村搬迁到集镇附近的新村。村名因游姓始居而来。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时属安福里。1934年归第七区王台管辖。1941年改属第二区王台镇，那时称山后保。[1]

1950年至1957年，属第六区王台镇，村名为游地村。[1]

此后于1958年改隶来舟镇，名为游地大队，1984年改为游地村委会。[1]

2001年，村里以林地换宅基地，在距集镇0.5千米处建造福工程「金龙花园」「金辉花园」，全村整体搬迁，村民基本迁入新村。[1][2]

2020年12月，游地村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单。[1]
