蛟湖村位于来舟镇东北面，距镇区约4公里，地处富屯溪畔。村名的来历是：村庄临近富屯溪，明嘉靖年间洪水泛滥时溪流犹如蛟龙，故名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清两代属梅东里。民国时期先归宝珠乡（1941年）后改属宝茂乡（1947年），村名先为高吴保，后为王蛟保。[1]
1958年，因隶属王台公社而称蛟湖大队；1963年改归来舟镇，仍为蛟湖大队；1984年改称蛟湖村委会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
蛟湖禁赌博碑为清代石刻，属石窟寺及石刻类，列入《延平区第三次全国文物普查不可移动文物名录》（2012年9月14日公布）。[2]
