地名由来[edit]
村庄最初建在两山对峙的山谷里，名为罗源峡，后简称罗源。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1960年前，罗源与岭炳洋同属罗源大队，隶属夏道公社。1961年罗源大队划归东坑公社，与岭炳洋分为两个大队。[2]
1984年前后，罗源大队改称罗源村；东坑乡撤并后，罗源村归水南街道管辖。[2]
人口与土地[edit]
2011年末，村中设四个村民小组，全村281户、1126人。村内耕地827亩，林地6200亩。毛竹一项约3200亩，杉木则有2900亩。[2]
姓氏与习俗[edit]
村内有二十多个姓氏，陈、童、傅三姓居多。[2]
每年农历正月十二为「元公尊王」节，村民迎接神像巡游村中街道，沿途燃放鞭炮。[2]
