上地村是水南街道下辖的行政村，地处南平市延平区东南部，距市区约16.5公里。2011年，村下辖上地、横际、大垅三个自然村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

据《1993年南平市志·地名志》，村址位于山垄田上方，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1957年前，上地属玉地村辖区，横际与大垅两个自然村亦然。1958年，此地先归火车头（西芹）公社的篁路大队，编为上地生产队；1961年改划夏道公社。[1]

1963年由夏道公社划归东坑公社，称上地大队；1984年东坑公社改为东坑乡，上地大队改为上地村委会；1992年东坑乡撤并，上地村归水南街道管辖。[2]

人口与土地[edit]

2011年末，全村187户、736人，管辖面积约4600亩，村内设上地、横际、大垅三个村民小组。[2]

境内最高峰690多米。2011年末，全村耕地58亩，林地3900亩，其中毛竹林约3200亩。[2]

姓氏与习俗[edit]

村中姓氏有陈、傅、范、朱、王、罗、郑、杨、谢等，以陈、谢、傅、罗四姓居多。[2]

每年农历正月初十的「土地尊王节」是村中最热闹的节日，习俗已有200多年。[2]
