横排社区是水南街道下辖的社区，位于南平火车站一带，主社区处在水南桥与南平大桥之间。东边以铁路社区为邻，西侧靠西溪，南边沿后谷路，北面与九峰社区相接。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
社区的名称来自原先横立于路中的一座牌坊。社区1956年6月成立时称横排居委会，2002年起更名为横排社区，归水南街道管辖。[1]
2008年和2010年，社区先后新增景宏小区与新城中心小区，形成新老小区并存的商住格局。[1]
