四鹤街道位于福建省南平市延平区，地处南平市区中部。东面和北面与梅山、紫云、黄墩街道相邻，西面与西芹镇接壤，南面与水南街道相接。[1][2]

相传古时有四只仙鹤飞临延平，地方因此称为“四鹤”。[1]

辖区内有元至清代的延福延寿楼等文物，溪源峡谷则位于上洋村。[5][6] 2021年2月，街道入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，这里有四鹤、昼锦、紫芝、府前等坊。进入民国后归城区第一区管辖，其后先后划入平和镇、超骧镇和城关镇，1957年3月才设立四鹤办事处。1958年11月改称四鹤管区，隶属县级延平人民公社，次年改属南平市延平公社。1982年5月归南平市城市工作办公室管理。[4]

1991年6月该办公室撤销，此地改由南平市人民政府直接管辖。1992年11月东坑乡撤销，上洋村随之回到本街道。1995年1月撤市设区，划入延平区。[4]

沙溪口社区是1998年增设的。2001年11月府前路社区被撤销，马坑社区和杨中社区随之设立。2015年9月名流社区成立，同月西溪社区被撤销。[4]

地理环境[edit]

街道地处南平市区中部，境内有京福高速公路，205国道和316国道穿过，距福州市约120公里。博雅地名网称此处是闽江、建溪和富屯溪三江汇合之处。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

延福延寿楼在延福社区，建于元至清代，为区级文物保护单位。延福南剑州重建州学记碑刻于宋代，位于剑津中学内，为省级文物保护单位。[5]

溪源峡谷位于上洋村，为国家4A级旅游景区，地处茫荡山国家级自然保护区核心景区。峡谷全长5000余米，景观有中岩瀑布、凤冠岩等。[6]
