社区所在的文体路，沿线集中了文化体育场馆、教育机关、学校，以及文体用品商号，社区因此得名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区1982年3月设立，初称文体居委会。2002年，它以文体社区居民委员会的名称延续，仍归紫云街道管辖。[1]

文化[edit]

当地也称这一段为「文体一条街」。社区南侧以进步路为界，北边连接北门岭，西侧与环城中路相邻。[2]
