社区名称借用驻地流芳小学的校名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区1990年设立，称流芳居委会。2002年，它改为流芳社区居民委员会。[1]

社区先后获得的荣誉，有2010年的延平区「一站式服务」示范社区，2009年的省级充分就业示范社区，2007年11月的延平区「平安家庭」示范社区，以及2007年3月的延平区「巾帼建功」先进集体。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

辖区内有慈荫庵古寺庙，博雅地名网称它是市区遗存的历史人文景观，适合人们休憩和凭吊古迹。[2]
