社区因驻地旧时有三官庙而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代这一带称三元坊，民国时期属超骧镇。新中国成立后隶属第一区，1958年划入延平人民公社下的紫云管区，居委会名为三元居委会。1982年起归紫云街道，2002年，这一居委会成为三元社区居民委员会。[1]
