黄墩村位于延平区北郊，属黄墩街道，离市区约4公里，辖有7个自然村。据《1993年南平市志·地名志》所载，旧时村前有一道土堤，当地方言称之为“墩”，村名由此而来。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代此地属演仙下里，1941年称黄墩保，隶属圣安乡。1950年至1957年间，它以黄墩乡的名义先后归第一区与郊区办事处管辖。[1]

1958年划归红旗公社，次年改属东坑公社，原称黄墩大队。1984年东坑公社改设东坑乡，大队随之改为黄墩村委会；东坑乡撤销后，黄墩村归黄墩街道管辖。[1]

2022年10月，黄墩村经福建省农业农村厅认定，列为第二批「福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

莲花山脉在村境内，距环城公路约5公里。316国道横穿全村，全长约4公里。[1][2]

经济[edit]

当地人口以种菜、种食用菌为生，同时饲养生猪及家禽家畜；亦有人从事竹木加工、机械、运输和建筑。[2]
