常坑口社区位于延平区黄墩街道辖区内，属主城区。据《1993年南平市志·地名志》所载，社区所在地是小常溪注入建溪的河口，地名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

土地征用、农转非之后，1982年设立常坑口居民委员会；2002年改称常坑口社区，仍归黄墩街道。[1]
