马林社区位于延平区黄墩街道辖区内，属主城区。据《1993年南平市志·地名志》所载，昔时有马、林两家出资修建石桥，后人为纪念其功绩，便以当地地名命名社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1999年10月，马林居民委员会从轻机厂分离出来，此后由黄墩街道管理。2002年1月，它与黄林居民委员会合并，组成马林社区居民委员会，仍属黄墩街道。[1]
