地名由来[edit]
村子与招坑相邻，又坐落在左龙山下，两地各取一字合称“招山”。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
抗战后期的1943年，招山与招坑合为招山保；建国初，招山、招坑与下林、云山一并归入云山乡。1959年各自成立大队，1984年设村委会。[2]
村民[edit]
村子在元末明初形成，黄姓与林姓为村中主要姓氏。不少居民曾旅居印尼、美国与加拿大。[2]
文化[edit]
招山华侨大厝群在村内，是侨乡古建筑群中保存状况较好的一组。[2][3]
