村地原是一片小平川，后经开发建成聚居点，逐渐形成热闹的村落，村名取「友好安邦」之意。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

华南区游击队战斗遗址在村内的联春楼，属第二次国内革命战争时期闽南游击战争的遗迹。[1]

据百度百科，联春楼是清代古建筑，同时也是红色教育基地。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，邦都村被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」。[1]

2023年，邦都村获评省级乡村振兴示范村。[2]

2024年1月，邦都村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
