五岳村位于华安县中部，在九龙江北溪两岸，距新圩镇政府约6公里，距华安县城约17公里。村境西面与绵治村相接，南面与高宅村相邻。[1]

地名由来[edit]

相传此地由五个姓氏各自在小山峰上建楼居住，外人便称之为“五岳”，村因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1943年设五岳保；1949年后改设五岳乡；1958年改为五岳大队，1984年设五岳村委会。[1]

姓氏与祭祖[edit]

村中以郭姓、邹姓为两大姓。邹姓迁来已有四百多年，每年立秋日，全村人聚集在祖庙，举行祭祖仪式。[1]

建筑与古迹[edit]

宁自然村内保存着一座明代单孔石拱桥，建于1566年，长约15米，宽约6米，全部用大石砌成。[1]

物产[edit]

村中出产麻竹、甘蔗、茶叶和李子等。思塘自然村旧时出产草席，上世纪八九十年代销往省内外。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。2025年10月，村被认定为「漳州市2025年度市级“一村一品”专业村」，产业为百香果。[1]
