华山村位于新圩镇东部，东面与安溪县的村庄相邻，北接官畲村，距华安城关约24公里。村内有明清石刻和方形土楼芳山楼。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村地古称“花山”，又名“炉伴社”，旧属龙溪县二十五都龙岭保。明代陈天定、方进等人将其改称“华山”。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年建乡，称华山乡；1984年改为华山村。[1]

姓氏宗族[edit]

聿修公系方氏始祖，他于明万历四年（1576年）自龙溪崇福社迁来，定居于此，后人繁衍至今四百余年。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中现存明清石刻十几处，多为明末陈天定、方进及其师生的题刻。村口祖祠前立有石旗杆，还有清代的禁乞碑。村里的银杏树据称有四百年树龄。[2]

方形土楼「芳山楼」建于清代道光年间。[2]

物产[edit]

村中多铁观音茶园，茶叶加工户数十户，所产茶叶称华山茶。[2]

著名人物[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，明代有方崇尧，官至兵部副尚书，任福建军务都察院巡按总督；另有明崇祯年间进士方进。[2]
