利水村位于沙建镇，村中一条溪流内既有温泉，溪水又是冷的，两种水合于一溪。[1]

村名原称「二水」，因与「利水」方言读音相近，遂改定为利水。[1]

2025年5月，利水村入选「福建省美丽乡村示范村」创建名单；2024年1月，村庄被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2022年9月，被认定为「漳州市2022年度市级“一村一品”专业村」（乡村旅游）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前此地叫建玉乡，解放之初归第三区下樟乡。1958年划入上游公社，成为利水大队；1961年起归沙建公社管辖，1984年隶属沙建乡，后设利水村委会。[1]
