红岩村位于华安县南部，九龙江北溪下游北岸，是丰山镇四个镇直村之一。村落面积1.8平方公里，村里共415人、105户，辖两个自然村，设两个村民小组。东边到长泰县城20多公里，至华安县城则是60多公里。[1][2]

地名与历史[edit]

村名来自当地出产的花岗岩，其中钾长花岗岩呈红色。[2]

据村史，杨氏始祖杨景玉明末定居丰山，后繁衍分支成红岩村，至今六百余年。[2]

建筑与庙会[edit]

村中有一座明代建成的庵庙，庙门上嵌着刻有「武当宫」三字的石牌，明代石雕香炉至今仍在。另有一座长方形古民居楼和两口古井，井水完好。[2]

庵庙的进香日定在农历三月初三，届时有庙会、神像巡游、舞狮和演戏。1998年又修建观音庙，香客除本地人外，还有漳州、平和、南靖等地的。[2]

村里出产香蕉、龙眼、荔枝和柚子，并养猪、养鸭和养鱼。[2]
