赤溪村属福建省漳州市华安县华丰镇，为镇乡结合区的行政村。村名取自村中的溪流。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村中两条溪水汇合后流入九龙江。溪水历来无收益，古称「赤溪」。村里耕地少，先人多靠筏水排与外出做工谋生，生活清贫，于是以「赤溪」作自然村名。[1]

1943年归石宝镇管辖。1949年后设乡，1958年以驻地得名组成赤溪大队，1984年改为村委会。[1]
