历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：此地岩石较多，先人迁入后，为纪念开基祖，取新旧两地名各一字合成村名。[1]

1943年属良新乡，1958年组成岩湖大队，1961年拆队后以驻地命名岩坪大队，1984年改为岩坪村委会。[1]
