历史沿革[edit]

村子建在南面，故名建南。[1]

1939年此地隶属维新乡乐南保，1950年改属乐南乡。1958年设建南大队，后于1984年改为建南村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予本村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

2024年6月，建南村列入「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
