下石村是福建省漳州市平和县崎岭乡下辖的行政村，位于闽粤交界处，村中建有公益建筑「桥上书屋」。据博雅地名网载，全村辖11个村民小组，有343户、人口1479人（未注年份）。[1][5]

地名由来[edit]

此地先有姓石的居民定居，村子位于顶寨、中寨两个村寨之下，故名下石。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1945年，此地属崎岭乡石寮保；1949年10月划入第六区，设石寨乡；1951年改归新建第10区。1958年公社化分队时设为下石大队，1984年改为下石村委会。[2]

桥上书屋[edit]

桥上书屋由清华大学教授李晓东主持设计，其学生参与营建；2008年至2009年间竣工，原为下石希望小学。建筑长28米、宽8.5米，以钢结构为主，横跨溪流，连接两岸乾隆年间的两座土楼「到凤楼」和「中庆楼」，楼内藏书供村民与游客阅读。[4][5]

桥上书屋在2009年度的世界新锐建筑奖中排名第一；2010年，它在卡塔尔多哈获得阿迦汗建筑奖；2015年，它被收入住建部首批田园建筑优秀作品，评为一等。[5]
