泮池村是国强乡下辖的行政村，与云霄县交界，是一个边界大村，蜜柚和芦柑是主要经济作物。[1]

村落位于漳江源头。明正统三年（1438年），张氏先祖自云霄县西林迁来，在此形成聚落。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1945年，泮池一带属高坑乡泮池保；1950年改归第四区的泮池乡。1958年成立泮池大队，1984年设村委会，地名沿用至今。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村中花岗岩、铜矿等矿产资源较丰富。[1]

文化[edit]

村里还留有明代古庙群，以及上百年树龄的古荔树。[2]

经济[edit]

近年村里拓宽道路、修建市场，已具备集镇雏形。[1]
