五寨乡在福建省漳州市平和县东南部，与漳浦县为邻，西南面接云霄县，北面与南胜镇相连，乡政府设在优美村大埔。[1][3]

全乡四面环山，中间多丘陵，地貌近似中低谷小盆地；以农业为主，是漳州市的蔬菜专业乡。乡内以林氏为最多，台湾雾峰林家的祖籍埔坪村即在境内，埔坪林氏宗祠建筑群和南胜窑址的五寨部分是主要的文物。[1][4][8]

地名由来[edit]

相传旧时宗族之间时起纷争，各族便在险要处筑寨自保，境内形成五座主要山寨，故称五寨。博雅地名网列五寨为高寨、罗寨、军寨、郭寨、鼠寨，维基百科所列则为高寨、军寨、赤寨、罗寨、福寨，两说的寨名不同。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

明代此地属新安里四图，清康熙年间设为五寨社，乾隆年间改称五寨约，统辖十三乡村。民国15年属坂仔区署辖，1933年设立五寨乡，仍归坂仔区管辖。[2]

1950年，南胜被析出另设第三区，五寨划归该区；1958年，此地组建五寨人民公社，至1984年底，公社改设五寨乡人民政府。[2]

1988年时全乡领属8个行政村，1993年新美村析出新塘村，全乡增至9个行政村。[2][3]

2018年10月18日设立五农社区，地名此后一直沿用。[6]

地理环境[edit]

五寨乡属鹿溪流域。五寨溪是漳浦鹿溪的源头之一，自乡境穿过。北部的大帽山海拔近千米，四周群山环绕，中部丘陵起伏，形成中低谷小盆地。境内七个村子位于山谷平原，另两村为山谷丘陵地。[2][3]

气候属南亚热带海洋性季风气候。博雅地名网记年平均气温为19.5℃，年均降雨量为1900.0毫米，无霜期300天以上，年份未注。[2]

漳州市把本乡列为蔬菜专业乡，对台农业在平和县内也居示范地位。水稻、龙眼、荔枝与蜜柚是主要的经济作物，台湾莲雾、青枣和木瓜等果蔬亦有大量出产。[1][3]

乡概况称境内探明的矿产有后巷石英矿、泥煤矿和花岗岩，花岗岩石场位于侯门村。[3]

文化[edit]

乡内通行闽南语。林氏是最大的姓氏，源出漳浦；庄氏次之，源出永春州；其他姓氏很少。[4]

台湾雾峰林氏的祖籍地在埔坪村。[1]

「克拉克瓷」是欧洲人对一类明代青花瓷的叫法，上世纪80年代在五寨、南胜等地发现的明代窑址，出土标本与海外收藏的克拉克瓷标本一致，由此确定其产地为平和县。[7][11]

名胜古迹[edit]

埔坪林氏宗祠建筑群位于埔坪村，由花砖、林氏大宗、龙头、绥丰四座清代宗祠组成，为福建省第九批省级文物保护单位。[8]

龙须洞在侯门村一带，是侯门溪上游地下暗河的入水口，河床上分布着大量石臼群，专家推测可能是古冰川运动形成的冰臼。[9][4]

2006年5月，五寨的大垅窑、二垅窑、洞口陂沟窑、田中央窑，连同南胜的花仔楼窑、田坑窑，入选第六批全国重点文物保护单位。[7]

红仔山在乡境东北部，又称红军洞。1932年，邓子恢在此组建闽南特委，此地曾是红三团的主要驻地。[10]

三宗庙原为五南区苏维埃政府的旧址。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2014年6月，环境保护部授予五寨乡「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[1]

2020年6月，本乡获评福建省省级乡村治理示范乡镇。[5]

2021年2月，五寨乡列入「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]

2022年12月，「福建省爱国卫生运动委员会」命名五寨乡为「2022年福建省卫生乡镇」。[1]

2023年11月，五寨乡被认定为「第三批全国乡村治理示范乡镇」。[1]
