双峰村是芦溪镇下辖的行政村，位于镇南部，下辖13个自然村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村后有两座高峰，村因此称双峰。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代村名双坑，归大坪约管辖；民国时期设双坑保，隶芦溪乡；1945年改入下铜保，所在乡仍为芦溪乡；1950年设第七区双峰乡，1958年改称双峰大队，1984年改为双峰村委会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，双峰村入选2020年福建省森林村庄名单。[2]

著名人物[edit]

叶锦章（1908～1929）生于双峰村一个富裕家庭，1921年在县立中学结识进步青年，开始接触马列主义。[3]

1926年秋起，叶锦章随朱积垒走访平和西北山村，倡导组织农民协会，同年底加入中国共产党。[3]
