上仓村地处九峰镇西部一隅，与大溪镇毗邻，属革命老区。[1]

村子位于水源头，田地宜于种粮，被视为天然粮仓，因此得名上仓。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1945年属下北保，1950年归第六区下北乡，1958年称下北大队，1961年由下北析出另设上仓大队，1984年改设上仓村委会。[2]
