1945年属平等保，1950年归第六区平等乡，1958年称军溪大队，1984年改设军溪村委会。[2]

人口886人，下辖三个自然村，分别是上村、田中央和际下，另有5个村民小组。[5]
2006年村民人均年收入3613元，村民以蜜柚种植和养猪为主，劳务收入为辅。[5]
革命历史[edit]
国内革命战争时期，红九团在此一带活动，属饶和埔革命根据地。[5]
