村名取自周围群山环绕、山峰相接之意。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1945年属汀溪保，1950年归第六区汀溪乡，1958年为九峰公社联峰大队，1984年改设联峰村委会，地名沿用至今。[2]

据博雅地名网，全村11个生产小组，432户1894人（年份未注），山地面积1.15万亩，耕地1400亩。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，联峰村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
