彭林村位于霞寨镇东部，南面隔山与坂仔镇相邻。[1]
地名由来[edit]
明代，这里的原住民有彭姓和温姓，分居在彭林社与温厝寨，都属大坪约。后来卢姓村民迁入，逐渐成为大姓，但仍沿用彭林的地名。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
清代为彭林社和温厝寨。1945年称小坪乡彭林保，1950年设第二区彭林乡，1958年改属下寨公社为彭林大队，1984年设彭林村委会。[1][3]
文化[edit]
2024年1月，彭林村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。2024年9月，它被认定为「漳州市2024年度市级‘一村一品’专业村」，主要产业是蜜柚。[1]
